About the Institute

Founded on the IIIT (PPP) Act, mentored by NIT Agartala.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Agartala is one of the IIITs (PPP) in the country, set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in Information Technology. An Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament from 04 February 2020, currently operating from its temporary campus at mentor institute NIT Agartala.
